I have a 2001 Durango. I put my old citizen band radio in it and wanted to put an antenna on it. I didn't want another magnet mount like I had on my old SUV because it left gouge marks in my paint so I went to three CB dealers in my town and all they wanted to sell me were cheap antennas and mounts. None of these dealers could offer me a way to mount my antenna without making holes in my Durango. I'm glad I found you on the internet. I've got a new Dodge Ram. I couldn't find a place for an antenna. There is "plastic" everywhere on my truck where metal USED to be and no place fo mount an antenna without making cuts in the sheet metal. I put your Jeep Wrangler mount on my CJ. I was off roading and my antenna smacked a tree limb, broke the antenna in half (it was an 8' whip) but my Gripper mount was unfazed. I am ordering the 4' antenna you have because I know that tree limbs can't get to it. Jeeper "T" Macon GA.
